NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - First Alert Weather days continue through Sunday because of high heat and humidity that are expected to continue across the Midstate. NEXT 24 HOURSVery humid again to start off our Thursday with temperatures in the 70s for the morning. This afternoon we’ll see temperatures climb into the lower to mid 90s with a heat index between 100°-105°. A stray shower or storm will pop up in some area this afternoon, but many of us will stay dry.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - First Alert Weather Days remain in effect through the weekend because of the dangerous heat and humidity that’s expected across the Midstate. NEXT 24 HOURSVery humid to start off our Wednesday with temperatures in the 70s again as we step out the door this morning. We’ll have a mix of clouds and sunshine this afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 90s. Heat index values will be between 100°-105° for many, but it could feel hotter than 105° in some spots this afternoon.

NEXT 24 HOURSAnother very warm and humid start to our day, and the heat will continue to build this afternoon. High temperatures will push into mid 90s for many today, but a couple of spots could even reach the upper 90s this afternoon. The humidity will make it feel even hotter with a heat index as high as 100°-105° this afternoon.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) -First Alert Weather Days are in effect through the weekend as excessive heat moves into the MidstateAll of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky will be gripped by widespread heat and humidity this week and this weekend. High temperatures are expected to be well into the 90s with heat index values in the triple digits. In most of the area, heat index values will range between 100°-105° which means heat advisories will be likely over the next week.

(WSMV) - A First Alert Weather Day has been issued because of the risk of strong storms this afternoonHave the umbrella ready to go today and stay weather ready this afternoon with scattered showers and thunderstorms expected across the Midstate. Any thunderstorm could be capable of producing heavy rain and high wind gusts but there is no hail or tornado threat. Keep an eye on poor drainage areas for minor flooding and secure or bring in any loose object you may have outside.
