FLINT, Mich. -- Our parent company, Sinclair Broadcasting and the Salvation Army are teaming up for the campaign, Sinclair Cares: From Homelessness to Hope. The plan among those who run the Flint organization is to offer programs that keep people from ending up without a roof over their heads. "There are so many people who are just one paycheck away or one medical issue away from losing their house and being on the streets,” said Major Randy Hellstrom, Mid-Michigan Area Commander, Salvation Army.
