Le député de Portneuf, Vincent Caron a annoncé une aide financière de 200 000 $ au camp Kéno dans le cadre du volet 2 du Programme d’aide à la mise en valeur du territoire public. Ce montant servira à la phase 1 de l’amélioration du chemin Joseph-Perthius. Le camp Kéno assumera le principal de l’autre partie des frais, avec une contribution des usagers du secteur. Le coût total de cette première phase s’élève à 400 000 $.

Anna Newkirk has confirmed via Instagram that she broke her hand during practice at the Val di Sole World Cup. Newkirk has been on impressive form this season, currently sitting 4th overall in the World Cup standings. Riding for a new team this year, Frameworks Racing, she’s earned podium finishes at both Bielsko-Biała and Leogang, finishing 2nd at both events, and added a 5th-place result in Loudenvielle.

Le club Adeptes Quad Portneuf tient à informer les utilisateurs de ses sentiers que le droit d’accès est obligatoire dans tous les sentiers fédérés du club. « À partir du mois de décembre 2024, on a le droit d’exiger la vignette. On a fait une demande au Gouvernement pour avoir cette autorisation. Avant, quand on était sur les terres de l’État, on n’était pas obligé d’avoir la vignette pour circuler. Maintenant, sur les zones qui sont spécifiées, les gens sont obligés d’avoir leur vignette.

Plus de 150 personnes étaient présentes, le 1er juin, dans la verrière de l’Espace Desjardins du centre multifonctionnel Rolland-Dion pour le lancement du livre Historique des inondations à Saint-Raymond de l’auteur Richard Jobin. L’ouvrage de 106 pages présente la chronologie des inondations et de l’évolution de la rivière Sainte-Anne au cœur de la ville de Saint-Raymond, sans oublier la rivière Bras-du-Nord.
