From OuterBanksVoice.comThe Dare County Tax Appraisal Department has announced that the 2025 revaluation notices containing the updated appraised value for property—as determined by the 2025 countywide revaluation—have been mailed to all Dare County property owners. The total value of those properties, according to the county, is $27,453,300,000 or about $27.5 billion, which represents a 67% gain over the $16.4 billion in assessed value in 2024.
