The warning said minor flooding is forecast and that portions of the river may continue to flood, according to the NWS. The river is expected to rise above the flood stage of 15 feet.

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting and stabbing during a funeral service in Hartford on Friday, officials said. Joshua Smellie, 34, of Hartford, has been arrested and is charged with first-degree assault, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal use of a firearm, risk of injury, first-degree reckless endangerment, and third-degree assault on an elderly person, according to the Hartford Police Department.

Central Connecticut State University has added a master’s degree in artificial intelligence, college officials said. The University has announced that it recently launched a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence, a graduate program designed to prepare students for a career in intelligent systems and machine learning technologies, in one of the first of its kind programs in Connecticut.
