With Guileless CheerBy Steve CarrMy two year-old niece navigates life backwards. That’s right. Her parents strap her in a back seat of the car, facing backwards. At first it seemed rather cruel to me, but I’m told they’re good parents and other good parents do the same. Expressions under WrapsBy Steve CarrOur talented and tolerant editor has learned to send me a reminder before my column is due. I doubt he needs to do that with his other contributors. Originally a toll station, the island quickly added a red light district and became known as Soiled Dove Island.

One Thing Leads to AnotherBy Steve CarrMy eight-year-old grandson Ben hopes to be a professional dancer/marketer/pollster and TV game show superstar when he grows up. Frankly, I think his odds are better than average for a dream-come-true scenario. He’s got the moves. Just ask the four thousand hockey fans who cheered him on when he appeared on the Dance Cam at a recent Idaho Falls Spud Kings game.
