Slapping stickers for fun and profitIn the next 12 months almost every software vendor in the world is going to slap an “Agent AI” or “Agentic” sticker onto their software, and a large number of those will absolutely be doing that for a purely marketing purpose with no actual technical improvement. Some have done this with LLMs, but it is hard to fake creating the full foundation model, but with Agentic the opportunities for ‘redefinining’ it so old tech is new is much larger.
