We’re coming off an El Nino winter and what has been a very active pattern for the last several months. Much of last year was very dry until November and December, meanwhile over the winter snowpack and frequent rains have replenished our ground water supplies. In fact, all draught restrictions have now been lifted in every County across the commonwealth and we appear to be in good shape heading in to the Spring planting season.

Mostly Cloudy but not much rain today. It will stay warm and muggy overnight. WEDNESDAY STORMS:Best chance of rain will come in the form of storms in the pre-dawn hours on Wednesday. Storms will clear out quickly and sunshine will keep us warm. HUMIDITY DROPS:By Thursday there will be a noticeable drop in the humidity for the rest of the week. Beautiful weather right into the weekend.

It will be partly to mostly cloudy today with a few passing showers and a high near 80. HALF AND HALF WORK WEEK:Clouds and the threat for showers will linger as we head through tomorrow. It doesn't looks like a washout but certainly expect a few passing showers. Highs will be around 80 during this time. Increasing amounts of sunshine are expected during the second half of the week with temperatures heating up a bit heading into next weekend.

HARRISBURG, Pa (WHP) — Both today and tomorrow will feature a few isolated afternoon thunderstorms, highs today will be in the mid 80s and tomorrow we will top out around 90. High temperatures from Wednesday through Friday will be in the mid 90s, and it will be humid too with the heat index topping out around 100! This will be our hottest stretch so far this Summer. A cold front will arrive with some showers and storms on Saturday to cool things back a bit for the weekend.
