A Wind Advisory in in effect for much of southern Oklahoma through 12 am. These winds, generated by a large complex of decaying thunderstorms over north Texas, will gradually ease overnight. Rain chance overnight is 30%. However, we’re not done with our latest episode of severe weather just yet - we’ve got Monday to get through. A powerful upper-level trough will be passing over a very warm and humid air mass during the day Monday, while the dry line becomes active to our west.

Serious flooding may occur - this has the potential to be one of the worst area-wide flood events in a number of years - but not as extreme as 2015, the way it looks now. Low tonight 65 degrees, rain chance 70% Wednesday high 70 degrees, rain chance 100%.

Thunderstorms, some possibly severe, may impact our western Texoma counties between 9 pm and 1 a.m. A Tornado Watch is in effect for Carter, Love, Murray, and Pontotoc Counties until 11 p.m. to account for this potential. Otherwise, heavy rainfall is the primary concern through Wednesday night with excessive rainfall causing flash flooding, and sending lakes to their highest levels in several years. Low tonight mid to upper 60s, winds south at 15 to 25 mph.
