(WTVM) - Columbus United FC have become the underdog story of the summer here in the fountain city, and now they find themselves in the final 4 and just 2 wins away from a national championship in their inaugural season. That was thought to be an impossible feat just over a month ago when the team was winless through their first 3 games of the summer. Now, a massive turnaround and an incredible run of form see the team in the final four among 90 total teams.

PHENIX CITY Ala. (WTVM) - Central High School hosted the 3rd annual Tommie Robinson youth football camp Saturday Afternoon. The camp featured several Phenix City Icons as well as Central High School Alums. Tommie Robinson Jr. is a native of Phenix City and is currently serving under Head Coach Deion Sanders for the Colorado Buffs. He spoke to us about the impact he wanted to have on the youth and he plans to do this again next year.

This club, led by head coach Brett Teach, has brought in talent from all over the globe, whether it be Brazil, England, Ghana, etc. This group is as diverse as they are talented, featuring a boatload of D1 talent. Columbus United are three games into their summer session for 2024 and have a record of 0-1-2.

The grant workshop is for police officers, sheriff's departments, highway patrol officers, code enforcement officials, and others responsible for implementing the law. COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - On April 29th Auburn Police arrested 39-year-old Auburn resident Salvatore Giusppe Guerrero on felony warrants charging him with two counts of burglary third-degree, and two counts of criminal mischief first-degree. The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a burglary report on April 29, 2024. A complainant reported that an unknown suspect unlawfully entered two vacant apartments located in the 200 block of West Longleaf Drive, between April 26th and April 29th.

This is a 28-space, free public parking lot with two EV charging stations, one bike repair station, one bike shelter, benches, decorative rod iron fencing, and plenty of greenery including the addition of ten trees to our city's tree canopy. COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - On April 29, 2024, Auburn Police, along with assistance from the Montgomery Police Department, arrested 19-year-old Dmitri Miguel German, from Montgomery on a felony warrant charging him with identity theft. Auburn Police received a report involving a fraudulent check on Nov. 15, 2023. Police met with a complainant who reported that a check made out to a business was mailed to the intended recipient from a location in Auburn.
