JOLIET – Joliet West was having trouble turning its hits into runs Thursday. Fortunately for the Tigers, starting pitcher Ryan Lasson wasn’t going to need too much support to make things work. FRANKFORT – Lockport knew they had to take a grinder approach to dealing with its opponent on Wednesday afternoon. Fortunately, that’s just fine with Porters. “I think Lockport baseball always thrives on a challenge,” Lockport coach Scott Malinowski said.

Spent a lot of time with this and there's a lot to unpack. But almost certainly brackets are going to look a lot different in the fall most notably 4A through 6A.

Under new rules from the IHSA, 44 football schools will get the IHSA multiplier for 2025, causing big potential changes in the classes for the playoffs. Who all is affected? Here's @thesouc with more: https://t.co/5BuxGQjqU7
