Searcy officials have been told that Riverside Park could be developed into a park that draws visitors to the city from throughout the state and even the central part of the country, according to City Planning and Development Director Richard Stafford. Officials are hoping voters pass a bond measure in a special election being held with Tuesday’s primaries and nonpartisan judicial election that will help with the development of the park.
