The Farmington Scorpions, coached by Albert Boognl, wrapped up play Saturday in the Five Tool New Mexico ABQ Classic with an 11-5 win over the Desert Sox.

The Piedra Vista Panthers, coming off a tough season in their newest venture into Class 6A action, competed in a handful of 7-on-7 scrimmage games against teams from Aztec and Bloomfield, as well as teams from as far away as Rio Rancho, Cuba, Hozho Academy and Holbrook, Arizona.
