Scuffles involving players and officials from both clubs broke out on the Inver Park pitch following the final whistle as the hosts secured the point they needed to pip the Glens to second spot in the table and automatic qualification for European football next season.

    Gary Hamilton has made a sensational return to management after he was named the new manager of Ballymacash Rangers. Hamilton has been out of management since leaving Glenavon in September 2023. But Premier Intermediate League side Ballymacash announced on their social media channels on Saturday evening that the former Northern Ireland international would be taking over at the Bluebell Stadium.
