INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Expect a late week warmup with more chances for showers and storms into and through Easter weekend. This will involve a threat for severe weather and renewed flooding concerns. Wednesday night: Mostly clear and chilly tonight with lows in the low 40s. Thursday: Warmer and breezy conditions expected with some showers getting into the mix Thursday afternoon and evening. Highs look to top out in the low to mid 60s. Winds will gust up to 20-30 MPH at times.

The next weather system we’re tracking arrives by Monday. Friday night: A mainly clear and cold night is expected. Freeze warnings will be in effect due to our low temperatures in the low 30s. Saturday: After a cold start to Saturday, we get to enjoy a bright and pleasant afternoon.

Thursday night: Scattered showers and storms are expected to stay mainly south of interstate 70 into tonight, but a stray shower could creep up to interstate 70. A low level 1/5 severe risk remains in place south of interstate 70 with isolated wind and hail the main concerns.
