Dear EditorThis article caught my attention as the topic covers an area of surgical practice that has somewhat baffled me. Why are the available haemostatic agents not more widely employed? Tranexamic acid and ethamsylate are the two with which I have some primary care experience. Dear EditorIn the light of the events of recent decades could anyone doubt that whistleblowing is both dangerous and essential - and not only in medicine. The midfielder is expected to be fit and return to action by the end of January, but as he is still not available to play Ghana manager Chris Hughton has not risked him in his squad.
