Kelly has won at every stop in his coaching career. From 1991-2003, Kelly went 118-35-2 at Grand Valley State. He moved to the FBS level at Central Michigan in '04 and proceeded to go 19-16 over three years. Kelly parlayed that success into the top spot at Cincinnati, where he guided the Bearcats to a 34-6 record. Following that stint, Kelly was hired at Notre Dame and went 113-40 with seven seasons of double-digit victories. He's 29-11 with one SEC West title in three years at LSU.

Ranking the SEC's College Football Coaches for 20251. Kirby Smart, GeorgiaSmart enters 2025 as the unquestioned No. 1 coach in college football. Since taking over at his alma mater in ‘16, the Bulldogs are 105-19 and won back-to-back national titles in 2021-22. Smart has guided the program to seven double-digit win seasons since ‘17 and has not finished outside of the top 10 in that span. Additionally, Georgia has lost only two regular season games in SEC play since ‘21.
