Lifeboat crews were called after a yacht ran aground close on the Fylde coast. The yacht was making its way up the Fleetwood Dock channel on Sunday evening's ebbing tide. RNLI volunteers were called in to assist the "casualty vessel" at 5.35pm on Sunday, April 20. Three people were rescued from the yacht and taken to the lifeboat station - with one person staying on board to wait for the yacht to refloat at the next high tide.
