XENIA — On any given day, the trails of Greene County provide a scenic escape for cyclists and nature lovers alike. But on July 19th, they will play host to a much deeper purpose: supporting the Greene County Suicide Prevention Coalition (GCSPC) Veteran Subcommittee. The ride will begin at the Fairgrounds Recreation Center with flexible start times between 8-9 a.m., allowing cyclists to ease into the event at their own pace.

GREENE COUNTY — Traffic changes will be implemented on U.S. Route 35 in the Western portion of Greene County as part of a pavement and bridge rehabilitation project beginning Monday for the next three months. During the first phase of work, the left lane of westbound U.S. 35 will be closed within the work zone that is being confined from the S.R. 835/N.

XENIA —The Greene County Fair and Expo Center is expected to be over run again this weekend by the world’s largest amateur radio convection. Hamvention’s 2025 event will run over three days beginning Friday. Gates open at 9 a.m. all three days, and the show will run until 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and until 1 p.m. on Sunday.
