Hertfordshire County Council leader Richard Roberts has narrowly retained his Kings Langley seat, seeing off a nail-biting challenge from Reform. Cllr Roberts emerged victoriously as the incumbent, winning 1,317 votes. But he was followed closely by Reform’s James Evans who amassed 1,067 votes.

Reform’s Christopher Wright has swooped to victory In Hemel Hempstead St Paul’s with 966 votes. The Tories’ Julie Banks trailed behind with 537 votes, while Liberal Democrat Robin Bromham scored 737 votes, Labour’s Mohamed Fawzi 551 votes and the Green Party’s Paul Harris 157 votes.

Cllr Bell emerged with 1,323 votes, followed by Liberal Democrat Aga Dychton with 1,193 votes, Conservative’s Sanjaya Pant with 314 votes, Reform’s David Ealey with 456 votes, Green’s David Gordon with 215 and TUSC’s Mark O’Connor with 47 votes.
