This time Lowe plays lovestruck Agnes, who we first meet as a Scottish peasant falling for sexy preacher Alex (Aneurin Barnard, Dunkirk and The Personal History of David Copperfield), but who ends up living, dying, dancing and crying in 1793, 1847, 1940 and even 1980 New York.
