DELPHOS, Ohio — Fire crews in Delphos were called to a fire in a grain dryer earlier Monday. According to fire officials, crews responded to Bunge Ag in the 200 block of South Jefferson Street around 4:40 p.m. Upon opening the dryer, they found heavy smoke coming from soybeans. Firefighters had to shovel out hundreds of soybeans before discovering the fire and working to extinguish the flames. They remained on scene for several hours. No injuries were reported.

A stabbing incident in Lima on Friday afternoon has turned fatal. According to Lima police detectives, officers were called to 658 North Elizabeth street, just before 2:30; on reports of a stabbing victim. They arrived to find 47 year old Anthony Townsend suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen. Lima Fire paramedics transported Townsend to Mercy Health St. Ritas where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

BLUFFTON, OH (WLIO) - Bluffton fire crews responded to a fully engulfed house fire late Friday afternoon. Strong winds made firefighting efforts difficult, resulting in a total loss of the house. Bluffton Fire Chief Jon Kinn said crews were called to 612 Lausanne Drive at 3:49 p.m. and arrived to find flames coming from the home. Strong winds made firefighting efforts difficult, resulting in a total loss of the house.

LIMA, OH (WLIO) - A commercial bus made an unscheduled stop along U.S. 30 near N Wapakoneta Rd Thursday evening. According to scanner traffic, the bus pulled over and stopped after a fire was reported on the vehicle, with passengers initially being evacuated. State troopers and fire crews were called to the scene to help. It appeared the 43 passengers on board were able to get back on the bus and stay out of the cold until they were given rides to nearby hotels.
