    WORCESTER, Massachusetts — Olivia Dube from Greenland, New Hampshire was awarded Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Salisbury Prize. Dube, Class of 2025, majored in chemistry and is the daughter of Robie Dube and Cynthia Tenteromano and granddaughter of Frank Tenteromano of Florida and Paula Guerette-Manning (Mark) of St. David and Lucien and Linda Dube of Madawaska.

    PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Northern Maine Community College honored its nursing Class of 2025 during a heartfelt pinning ceremony held on campus, recognizing the achievements and commitment of 16 graduating nursing students as they prepared to enter the profession.     MILO — With bids coming in over the $7.2 million price tag, Plymouth Engineering will be negotiating with the low bidder to get Milo Public Safety Building project within budget. Bids came back several weeks ago and each was higher than anticipated, Staff Engineer Keith Ewing of Plymouth Engineering told the select board during a May 14 meeting. “The low bidder came in at $7.6 (million),” Ewing said, or $400,000 more than is budgeted for.

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — A request for proposals for Piscataquis County’s $6.9 million emergency radio system project was approved by county commissioners on Tuesday morning. Vendors will have until mid-summer to submit bids in response to the request for proposals, which was written by consultant Normand Boucher Communications Design Consulting Group of Barrington, New Hampshire.
