DAVID Tennant has revealed he was stripped of the Rear of the Year title after refusing to take part in the winner's photoshoot. The actor was told he had won the award in the early 2000s, shortly after he rose to fame after landing the starring role in Doctor Who. However organisers wanted him to pose for photographs showing off his bum in a tight pair of jeans as part of a condition of winning.

FOOTBALL hardman Duncan Ferguson has revealed he used to steal legendary Dundee United manager Jim McLean's car and drive it around the streets of the city. Ferguson was ordered to clean the fearsome boss's motor with a bucket of water and sponge when he began his career with the Tannadice club. However, instead of doing the cleaning himself, he would drive to a nearby car wash to have it done.

IRN-BRU bosses are launching a new “mystery” version of the famous drink which pays tribute to the Loch Ness monster. Irn-Bru Xtra Nessie Nectar will be released in shops next month by AG Barr, the owners of Scotland’s other national drink, and the cans feature an image of the mythical creature emerging from Loch Ness. The product will have the “essence” of traditional Irn-Bru but will include a secret twist with customers being asked to guess what the flavour is.
