    INDIA AND UK AGREED ON FREE TRADE DEAL THAT WILL CUT 110% TARIFFS ON SCOTCH & GIN India and UK have eventually agreed on a free trade agreement which will initially halve the Indian tariff on Scotch and British gin to 75 percent from 150 percent before falling to 40 percent by the tenth year of the deal. It is expected that the provisions of the pact will come into force within the next 12 months.

    KIWI WINE FESTIVAL TO RETURN TO SEOUL AND BUSAN IN MAY The New Zealand Wine Festival will return to Seoul and Busan this year in May. The event in Seoul will be held on 4 May at The Grand Hyatt Waterfall Garden from 4 pm to 8 pm. While the Busan event will remain at the Park Hyatt in Marine City, and will take place on 24 May from 6 pm to 10 pm. Registration for both events is now open, professionals from the South Korean wine trade are welcome.
