NASCAR Truck Series racer Rajah Caruth had a demanding 18 hours this weekend. After competing Friday evening in the NASCAR Truck Race at Tennessee’s Bristol Motor Speedway and posting a ninth-place finish, the Spire Motorsports rising star flew to Miami, where he took a spin in the ABB FIA Formula E Series’ GEN3 Evo car Saturday in pre-race activities at the Miami E Prix.

This weekend’s first ABB FIA Formula E Series visit to Miami in 10 years was a marked contrast from the inaugural- season E-Prix on the picturesque downtown 1.345-mile course along Biscayne Bay. And it made Saturday’s podium finishers long for Long Beach. While second-place Lucas DiGrassi – winner of the 2015-16 season Miami stop – praised the city, he and third-place finisher Antionio Felix Da Costa enthusiastically endorsed Long Beach, Calif., as their preferred lone U.S. venue.
