The tiny cafe specializes in flavorful roll cakes and Basque cheesecake, not often seen on this side of the bay. The California-based grocery chain’s version of the viral treat hit shelves nationwide on Monday, a spokesperson for Trader Joe’s confirmed to SFGATE. Most San Francisco Trader Joe’s stores received their allotment on Tuesday, but, as with other viral Trader Joe’s items, all but one store sold out within one day.

I've been a big fan of @GuittardChoco but knew very little of the Bay Area brand. One of the coolest things I learned is that it's the oldest continuously family-owned chocolate company in the U.S. and develops products for @seescandies. My latest https://t.co/IqYXPFKSAA
