KPIX-TV (channel 5) is a television station based in San Francisco, California, USA, that broadcasts CBS content to the San Francisco Bay Area. The station is part of CBS News and Stations and operates alongside the CW affiliate KBCW (channel 44), which is also licensed in San Francisco. Both KPIX and KBCW have their studios located at the intersection of Broadway and Battery Street, just north of the Financial District in San Francisco. KPIX's transmitter can be found on top of Sutro Tower. Additionally, KPIX shares its facility with several previously co-owned radio stations, including KCBS, KFRC-FM, KITS, KLLC, KRBQ, and KZDG, although they are registered at a different Battery Street address (865 instead of 855).
