Summary: High pressure, a big bubble of no trouble working it’s way into the Lone Star state. I think most of us would trade peak severe weather season for temperatures above average. Just how much above average, well, about 15° above normal. Temperatures will be close to the record, so if there is anything you need to do outside this week, today would be the day to get it done. If not the triple digit heat may make it difficult to catch a break.

Summary: We have not seen a lot of rain the past two day, however we are doing good when it comes to rainfall since the beginning of the year. A high pressure system is keeping things quiet, luckily for us winds are going to remain out of the north meaning temperatures stay into the mix of the 70’s through the holiday weekend. Into next week summer is looking to make a stay with temperatures approaching the triple digit mark.
