The former Oldham Athletic winger, and current Under 18s coach at Boundary Park, will play his last game for Bury on Saturday, when the Shakers end the North West Counties League Premier League season at home to Burscough.

Saddleworth FC have appointed former Oldham Athletic winger David Beresford as the club's first director of football. The 48-year-old, who also played for Huddersfield Town and Hull City, plans to use his expertise and connections in football for the benefit of the club. Beresford will support the progression of the club's junior teams, assist with coaching, and provide guidance to coaches in his new role.
