LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) — The Longview Fire Department responded to a fire at a Kay Drive home that left multiple pets dead and one homeowner injured on Thursday. The fire was first reported at around 4:25 p.m. in the 700 block of Kay Drive. Officials said the resident had been home at the time of the fire mowing their lawn. The resident put the lawn mower up in the garage, went to take a break for a minute but returned to his mower and garage on fire.
