    The 2025 restaurant industry awards season is officially underway now that the James Beard semifinalists have been revealed. The James Beard Foundation just made the announcement for its coveted restaurant and chef awards, kicking off a monthslong process before the winners are announced at a star-studded ceremony in Chicago in June. JBF will drop its list of finalists on April 2 with the winners announced at an awards ceremony on June 16.
