Trade, Industry and Competition Minister Parks Tau says he will announce the successful bidder for the fourth lottery licence on 28 May 2025, barring “anything beyond my control”. The matter had been set down to be heard in the Pretoria High Court on Tuesday, 22 April, but will now be heard on 5 and 6 May.
