AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Happy Friday! After seeing on and off rain today, precipitation will change over to snow for most tomorrow. Winter Storm Watches and Warnings have been issued for some parts of the region. Winter Alerts(KFDA)With temperatures in the 40’s and 50’s today, any precipitation that falls will be strictly in the form of rain. This rain will favor the western half of the region throughout this afternoon and evening.

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Happy Saturday! There isn’t much to talk about other than the heat. Skies will stay mostly sunny throughout the weekend (with a very low isolated storm chance this evening) with highs in the low to mid 100′s. AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Happy Saturday! Today will be the last day of cool temperatures as we look to heat right back up into the upper 90′s and 100′s starting tomorrow. There will be the chance for a few scattered storms this evening, although they won’t be nearly as widespread in coverage as what we saw overnight last night. AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Happy Thursday! We’ll see a cold front move through the region today, which will bring a cooler mass of air to end the week. Some areas (toward the north) will see the front arrive early which would equate to cooler daytime highs, while others (toward the south) won’t see it move through until late in the day, which will allow some hot highs.

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - It was a hot but overall quiet start to the week with clear skies, calm winds, and temperatures approaching 100 in some areas. We’ll be in the low 100′s for tomorrow and the mid 100′s for Wednesday, which could break some records. There isn’t much else to talk about through Wednesday as skies will stay sunny and winds will remain mostly calm.
