AbstractStaphylococcal nuclease Tudor domain containing 1 (SND1) protein is an oncogene that 'reads' methylarginine marks through its Tudor domain. Specifically, it recognizes methylation marks deposited by protein arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5), which is also known to promote tumorigenesis. Although SND1 can drive hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), it is unclear whether the SND1 Tudor domain is needed to promote HCC.

The 2023 MLB season has now come to a close which means there is no longer any baseball to watch or write about. While the hot stove and offseason trades are interesting and fun to talk about, I figured I'd take this time to write about something that I probably care way too much about: uniforms. You know the saying "Look good, feel good. Feel good, play good." And I would hope that most fans at least care a little about what their team looks like when they run out on the field.

The Nationals had a decent 2023 season showing some potential at points, finishing with a record of 71-91. It is not the greatest, but it is a step in the right direction after losing 107 games in 2022. With the impending rookies likely to be called up at some point in 2024, and the emergence of some young studs already in the big leagues, this raises the question of whether Mike Rizzo should go after some big-name Free Agents to help jumpstart this franchise into a contender once again.
