DALLAS — West Commerce Street is home to a variety of businesses — a body shop, a crab joint — and one building that, on paper, houses 20 separate trucking companies. A WFAA investigation found all of those businesses are registered to 539 West Commerce, a virtual mailbox service known as PhysicalAddress.com.

He was talking to the real company he was impersonating. The call was recorded by Tanager Logistics, a San Antonio-based freight broker whose identity had been hijacked by scammers operating from overseas. "What's the product on this load?" the real Tanager Logistics asked.
