HOLMDEL, NJ – Holmdel scored five unanswered goals in the second quarter and went on to a 12-3 boys lacrosse victory over Northern Burlington on Thursday. Finn Buchan collected two goals and four assists and David Perrotti scored three goals for Holmdel (6-7), which had a 9-2 lead at halftime after a 5-0 second quarter. Marcus Cremele and Anthony Serini each scored two goals and Ryan Pescatore, Joey Marino and Ryan Volpe had one goal apiece in the win.

OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ – Nick Hardy took a shutout into the seventh inning and Colts Neck hung on for a 4-2 baseball victory over Ocean Township on Thursday. Hardy pitched 6 ⅔ innings and allowed three hits and three walks and struck out eight. Neither of the two runs he allowed were earned. Nick Hayden gave up a hit and also got the final out for the save. Miles Schneider went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI for Colts Neck (11-5), which led, 4-0, going to the bottom of the seventh.

HOLMDEL, NJ – Holmdel scored all its runs in the fifth inning and rode strong pitching from Dylan Zammit to a 4-2 baseball victory over Red Bank on Wednesday. Zammit pitched a complete game, striking out eight, walking one and scattering six hits for Holmdel (13-4). Nick Rakoscki went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs batted in and Tyler Reddy and Raum Desai each had a hit and an RBI for Holmdel. Kyle Silberman and Jack Vallillo each had two hits for the Hornets. Red Bank is 5-13.

JACKSON, NJ – Jayden Molina scored five goals to lead Colts Neck to a 9-3 boys lacrosse victory over Jackson Memorial on Wednesday. Tyler Bowden finished with three goals and two assists for Colts Neck (6-8), which led, 5-1, after one quarter. Gavin Manassao had one goal and one assist, James Scully led Colts Neck with three assists and Zach Caparelli won eight of 12 faceoffs. Max Visoky made seven saves in the victory.

HOLMDEL, NJ – The Holmdel softball team celebrated Senior Day with an 11-5 victory over Manalapan on Thursday. All three Holmdel seniors collected at least one hit in the game. Avery Lewandowski hit a home run and finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Haley Dulow was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Kasey Lau was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored and she also pitched one inning.

FREEHOLD BOROUGH, NJ – Ava Forsyth and Haley Dulow drove in three runs apiece to lead Holmdel to a 12-2 softball victory over Freehold Borough on Tuesday. Forsyth and Dulow both had two hits in four at-bats for Holmdel (8-4), which totaled 11 hits. Winning pitcher Julia Henderson went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Avery Lewandowski had two hits and scored three runs. Natalie Clifford went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI. Henderson allowed three hits in five innings pitched.

Alex Cabrera went 2-for-3 with two runs batted in and Nick Rakoski was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI for Holmdel (11-4). Matt Iulo was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and winning pitcher Jack Vallillo went 2-for-4 with a double in the win. Tyler Reddy, who was 1-for-3, scored two runs.

FREEHOLD BOROUGH, NJ – Dylan Zammit pitched a six-hit complete game to lift Holmdel to a 6-0 baseball victory over Freehold Borough on Monday. Zammit, a junior right-hander and a verbal commit to NJIT, threw 93 pitches, striking out eight batters without a walk. Logan Cardinoza, Matt Iulo and Nick Rakoski each had two hits, including a double, and one run batted in for Holmdel (9-4), which scored one run in the sixth inning and then broke things open with five in the seventh.

COLTS NECK, NJ – Colts Neck scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, breaking a tie on its way to a 14-10 baseball victory over Middletown South on Monday. John Glusko went 4-for-4 with a double and two runs batted in for Colts Neck (9-3), which was tied, 9-9, with Middletown South (6-6) heading into the bottom of the fifth. Ryan Rude went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI and Dan Annunziata was 2-for-3 with three RBI in the victory.

COLTS NECK, NJ – Colts Neck advanced in the quarterfinal round of the Monmouth County Tournament with an 11-0 baseball victory over Manasquan on Saturday. Joe Pignatelli drove in four runs with a home run and a double for Colts Neck, which took an 8-0 lead with four runs in the third inning. Ronan Kiely knocked in two runs and hit two doubles, RJ Conover went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and Dan Annunziati went 2-for-3 with an RBI for Colts Neck.
