5. Discussion 5.1. Influence of Registration Noise on Pairing RateResults of this study show that the pairing rate of individual trees in the deciduous, coniferous, and mixed forest classes was clearly lower than that for roadside, garden, and parkland trees (). We can readily infer that registration noise exerts a greater influence on forest classes, which might be caused by the quantity and quality of ground control points available for geo-correcting aerial photographs.
