A recent survey was done by “Project Apis M,” a group that researches and helps support beekeepers. The survey collected data from 702 beekeepers, which accounts for over 1.8 million colonies, 68% of the nation’s bees. This research shows that commercial beekeepers have an average loss of 62% of their colonies.
