The Battle Lions are a perfect 4-0 and ranked number-two overall in the League of Clubs; a brand new soccer league with teams that play across the country.

    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Tallahassee SC Battle Lions and Reckoning are each well into their seasons and have impressed so far. The Battle Lions, in their sixth season, are off to their best start. The team is undefeated with a 4-0 record while averaging 4.5 goals per game. Tallahassee SC are ranked number-two nationally in their first season as part of The League of Clubs. Assistant coach Mason Solari attributes their success to the teams’ youth.

    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Waterski Pro Tour made it’s yearly stop in the Big Bend this weekend at Lake 38 in Gadsden County. Regina Jaquess and Rob Hazelwood each finished at the top of the podium on Sunday afternoon following the women’s and men’s finals, respectively. For Jaquess, it’s her fifth-win at the beloved ski track and second in a row. Hazelwood, also makes it a back to back victory, but it’s just his third-ever career win.

    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - For the fourth-straight year, former Florida State track and field star Alice Sims hosted her track and field invitational on Saturday. Chiles high school got the hosting duties for this years’ meet. Around 250 athletes, some as young as three years old, others over 30, and from both Florida and Georgia, competed. It’s a day that’s dedicated to growing the sport in this area.

    TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - To this point, everything has gone to plan for the home team in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional. Following a win in the opening game, Florida State baseball cruised to a 10-3 win against Mississippi State on Saturday night to advance to the regional championship game. Drew Faurot put the Seminoles in the lead in the top of the second inning with a two-run home run (Florida State was the away team for this game), his fifteenth of the season.
