TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Tallahassee Police Department is searching for a suspect after reports of gunfire on the south side of the capital city. TPD spokesperson Damon Miller said that officers found shell casings in the area of South Gadsden Street and Magnolia Drive after receiving reports of gunfire at about noon Monday. As of 1:30 p.m., no one has been found shot or injured. Miller said the department believes there is no threat to the public.

The protesters were calling for action after a shooter opened fire Thursday on passerby at Florida State University, killing two and injuring six others. The Night Hawks fell behind early, but had a chance to close the gap heading to halftime. The Seminoles had to come-from-behind down the stretch as senior Kaylah Williams birdied hole 18 to win her match by one stroke. That tied the overall match at 2-2 with one group remaining.
