1 SCRUB THE LEATHEREven the dingiest sneaks can be saved! Mix up a paste that’s equal parts white toothpaste, baking soda, and warm water. (A tablespoon of each should be plenty.) Dip a toothbrush or microfiber cloth in the mixture and apply it to your sneakers, rubbing gently in circular motions to remove dirt and stains. Then wipe off the paste with a clean, damp cloth. Pat dry with a separate cloth (moisture can damage the leather) and inspect. If any marks remain, repeat the process.
