    Congratulations to the folks at Water Witch – the locals’ favorite bar has moved to the finals of the James Beard Awards in the Outstanding Bar category. Fellow finalist nominees include Kumiko (Chicago, IL), Scotch Lodge (Portland, OR), The Lovers Bar at Friday Saturday Sunday (Philadelphia, PA), and Wolf Tree (White River Junction, VT). It wasn’t that long ago that Utah had private clubs to drink in.

Good lord, @rayadverb - I’m sitting on my patio bawling and hoping the neighbors don’t see me, having just read the last chapter (post-epilogue) of Lessons From Lucy. Okay to shed a few tears though in gratitude for all the belly laughs over the years.
