Last tuesday, Georgia Southern was hit with an unexpected wave of snow that took the campus by storm. Classes were moved to online learning for the week and roads were mostly covered by ice and snow. With the sudden change in weather, students decided to have an impromptu snow-cation that led to memories made and lots of fun. Although fun is different for everyone, the students on the Armstrong campus spent their time off enjoying it.

On Oct. 7th, 2024, Boro Pride held their 2024 Boro Pride Festival located at the Statesboro Farmers Market starting at 3pm with a line up of Drag Bingo, Pet Costume Contest, Dunking Booth, a Pie in the Face booth, and a drag show hosted by the Armorettes at the end of the Festival.

Sept. 23 to Sept. 27 – The CRI on the Armstrong campus held their first week of the intramural season of co-rec flag football and indoor soccer of the fall 2024 semester. Flag football is hosted every Monday and Wednesday with the first game starting at 6 pm, followed by more games throughout the night. Indoor soccer is held every Tuesday and Thursday with the first game starting at 6 pm and the later games starting throughout the night, as well.
