Shondaland and Fever have joined forces to bring the Bridgerton Candlelight Session Best-of to St Andrew’s Parish Church on Westland Row. The concert, entitled Candlelight: The Best of Bridgerton, will take place on July 11, at 7.30pm and 9.30pm. For one night only, the church will be awash with candlelight as guests bask in the sounds that defined the show’s past three seasons, including Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy, Ariana Grande’s Thank u, next, and Sia’s Cheap Thrills.

Swan Alley, located between Thomas Street and Hanbury Lane, has been a source of discussion among members of the South Central Area Committee due to the ongoing issues related to drug abuse, anti-social behaviour and illegal dumping. An official told the city council’s South Central Area Committee that dumping, littering and defecation were recurring problems and demanded regular intervention from the council’s waste management division to clean and power-wash the lane.

Dublin City Council has announced that submissions for the 2025 Summer edition of Dublin Canvas are now open. The inclusive art project is open to all Dublin residents over the age of 18 and applications close on Monday, June 2. The community project was first launched in 2015 by David Murtagh, with the first boxes painted in Rathmines, Camden Street and Baggot Street. The initiative was extended to include further locations across Dublin city and county and, to date, 900 boxes have been painted.
