Matthew Hindy has sold Sacramento area homes to roughly 80 Sacramento Kings players, and is now starting to sell to A’s players as well. The Althetics relocated to West Sacramento’s Sutter Health Park for what’s planned as a three season residence before the team moves to it’s permanent home city of Las Vegas. The California Civil Rights Department has alleged a Reno-based appraisal company and an individual appraiser lowballed the value of a Black and Latino family’s Oakland home due to their race. Clear Capital and the individual appraiser have agreed to settlements, the department announced in a news release Monday. “Clear Capital appreciates being able to work alongside the California Civil Rights Department (CRD) to resolve this matter,” Clear Capital spokesperson Ross Stevens said in an email.
