The Foxes battled from behind to claim a valiant 2-2 draw at American Express Stadium. In fact, I for one would certainly argue that the points could have come home to Leicestershire after watching live. If the east Midlands side could have just shown an ounce of this spirit and vigour for the previous three months, they would be in a far superior position.

But what the Blue Army fan base cannot forgive is the lack of emotion, commitment and class shown by much of the squad. That's the way we see it here, anyway. Not everyone on the City roster cares enough or shows the best versions of themselves for various reasons.

Even when losing in consecutive matches and facing relegation, the Dutchman appeared very confident that he was the right man for the King Power job. Though many of Leicester's Blue Army fan base clearly disagree for obvious reasons, especially at this awful stage in van Nistelrooy's LCFC tenure.

ByThomas Bradley Alderman|On Monday evening, Newcastle United almost certainly relegated Leicester City in basic terms. All is not done and dusted quite yet on Filbert Way. However, the chairman, staff and Foxes squad are now sadly losing the hearts and minds of the majority of the Blue Army fan base. Losing 3-0 at home without much of a first half fight was all too much for some LCFC supporters. The famous King Power Stadium saw an unprecedented mass exodus of Leicester's share of spectators.

ByThomas Bradley Alderman|Subjectively, Leicester City Football Club have looked awful on the pitch for the majority of the season. Away from the field of play, the Foxes are similarly troubled. But the performances turned in at King Power Stadium, along with up and down the country, have been intolerable. Obviously Southampton are below City; the Saints have already been relegated. But LCFC are giving them a good run for their money in the basement.

It is merely said that the organisation is so poorly run that the Foxes reportedly can't actually sack the Dutchman. He's safe, even though he's out of his depth and taking us down without even a whimper. That's because appointing a different manager at this stage of the season would cost money. A lot of money. But funds aren't even available to do that on Filbert Way.
