While a lot was being made of the lack of the sponsor on Jeremy Monga's Leicester jersey, many also saw why the young midfielder was placed in that position. As a promising young player, he looks like a potentially exciting piece that City could build their future around. In a season that hasn't given too much reason for anything resembling hope, the 15-year-old is provided a positive spark of excitement in what has been an otherwise dreadful campaign.

Yes, among a number of current disagreements among Leicester fans, there is a divide surrounding how much blame Ruud van Nistelrooy deserves. Although most will be happy and publicly call for the Dutchman to be relieved of his duties, there is a loud enough minority that is still backing the current LCFC manager. At a certain point for Leicester fans, enough is enough. Even after winning the Premier League in 2016 and the FA Cup in 2021, the top decision-makers have since disappointed. ByThomas Bradley Alderman|Leicester City went to Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend and showed a better version of themselves. The Foxes battled from behind to claim a valiant 2-2 draw at American Express Stadium. In fact, I for one would certainly argue that the points could have come home to Leicestershire after watching live. If the east Midlands side could have just shown an ounce of this spirit and vigour for the previous three months, they would be in a far superior position.
