This guy is outside of his element. When the Boston Red Sox traded Rafael Devers out of nowhere on Sunday, it's not like anybody couldn't connect the dots. Whatever Craig Breslow and the front office did in the offseason soured the relationship, and it reached a boiling point when they asked him to play first base after taking third base away from him and moving him to DH. Whether Devers had an ego or not, he didn't do this. In fact, nobody asked for this.

Pretty good updates, believe it or not!New York Yankees fans are numb to injury news, as they've been battered by it ever since 2018. It never ends. And it's gotten worse throughout the league. So it's not even a unique issue anymore. It is what it is. But man, that good injury news?! That feels good. Slap me across the face with it. Harder! And we've got three developments that fans will surely like to hear.

The Cincinnati Reds and Los Angeles Dodgers just genuinely shocked Major League Baseball with a headliner trade on May 29. A former Reds All-Star is headed to Los Angeles to join a stacked Dodgers roster. Alexis Diaz, who was demoted to Triple-A after his April 30 meltdown against the St. Louis Cardinals, is reportedly being acquired by LA. The Reds had unfortunately reached the point of no return with the right-hander, as he was also getting rocked in the minor leagues.

As if Cincinnati Reds fans needed any more grief as they watch their team remain (largely) incompetent on the offensive side of the ball night after night, they were given a jump scare with their star player on Tuesday night. Elly De La Cruz collided with center fielder TJ Friedl on a play in which three players converged on a pop up to shallow center field. De La Cruz covered a ton of ground on the play, but the ball dropped in between him and Friedl.

On Saturday night, the Cincinnati Reds erupted for 13 runs, including 10 in the first inning off starter Lance McCullers Jr. They're set for a rubber match on Sunday with the Houston Astros after the 13-9 victory, which was a crucial sign of life after Cincy scored only 10 runs over their previous six games. But that was hardly the story of the night. The heinous behavior of Astros fans overshadowed the Reds' offensive success. Before we get into that, the Reds amassed 12 hits and nine walks.

"Every time someone steps in our house we gotta show them why we're the Yankees and why this is Yankee stadium." Jazz Chisholm Jr. after his 4 RBI night vs. the Red Sox. https://t.co/8f4bHJO9Kc

Great defense from Oswald Peraza. Devin Williams needed that save. Yankees win. Suck an egg, Red Sox

Cannot believe I'm going to have to go on the record and say this loss will fully be on Will Warren if it were to materialize. I don't like saying this at all
