North American metal processor and distributor Venture Steel, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, announced plans to acquire a high-production slitting line from Athader S.L., part of The Bradbury Group.  The firm will install the line in Venture Steel’s newly expanded manufacturing facility in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico. Line capacity: 0.250 by 62 in., by 80,000 lb., with the ability to handle material tensile strength to 110,000 psi; maximum line speed, 600 ft./min.
